Every time you see our fabric’s vibrant colors and distinctive patterns, you can almost hear the African music, hear the beautiful languages, smell the delicious foods, and see the people dancing.  And that’s what we’re about here, at Monrovia Young Girl (MYG)– an authentic, culture-rich fashion experience.

My name is Tetee, and I am the sew-crazy woman behind MYG.  After seeing Ankara become a surging trend in fashion and home décor, I knew there was no better time to showcase my Liberian roots and share the magic of Africa with the world.  

I began making bags myself, pairing quality fabrics with fine leather, reliable hardware, and other luxury materials to create runway-ready looks.  The more I made, the more I knew I was on to something.  So, I continued … making designs that aren’t just eye-catching, but durable, and sophisticated, too.

Monrovia Young Girl doesn’t just tell my story; it allows me to share a piece of my beloved culture with the rest of the world.
